The Goodnature A12 possum trap automatically resets itself, so you don't have to. It can trap 12 possums before you need to replace the gas canister.

It’s easy to set up, humane and hands-free — the predators dies instantly and falls to the ground so you don’t need to touch it, or the trap.

The trap comes with a tree mount which is ideally attached to a tree trunk but can also be attached to a wooden post or pole if it’s the right dimensions.

A bottle of toxin-free lure specifically designed to attract possums is included, as well as a 250g pouch of pre-feed lure with 6 months worth of gas.

Where should I put my trap?

• The right trapping tree has a straight trunk, which is clear of branches below the trap (plus no shrubs at the base); its diameter should be between 15–30 cm (dinner plate size). Set the trap so that its base is 70 cm above the ground.
• If you're not getting results, try a different spot.

When should I check my trap?

• The lure needs to be refreshed in the trap monthly to keep the trap attractive to possums.
